Univision has promoted Julissa Bonfante to VP of Content Publicity, effective immediately.
She’ll continue to be based in Miami and report to Rosemary Mercedes, EVP and chief communications officer of Univision.
She replaces Rosemary Ravinal, who left the company earlier this year.
In her new expanded role, Bonfante will be responsible for developing, directing and managing all publicity efforts for Univision’s multiplatform content and tentpole events.
She joined Univision as director of corporate communications in 2016.
She previously worked as senior account director at RockOrange, where she was responsible for leading strategic communications for local and national brands. Before that, she was VP, Director of Group Communications at BBVA USA.
