Meruelo Media has hired Mariano Amador as general sales manager of the newly reformatted Cali 93.9 (KLLI-FM Los Angeles).
He’ll operate from the Meruelo studio complex in Burbank and report to Irma Barrios, VP and GM of Meruelo Media.
Amador most recently spent the past four years as GSM for Liberman Broadcasting’s L.A. stations Que Buena Radio KBUE-FM and KRCA-TV and KSDX-TV in San Diego.
He was previously local sales manager for Univision Radio Los Angeles stations KLVE, KRCD, KSCA and KTNQ from 2012 to 2015.
Before that, Amador worked as an an account executive for Azteca América’s KAZA. He got his start a sales assistant at Univision network in New York.
