Leslie Adami is leaving KVUE and early mornings for a weeknight anchor position at ABC affiliate KIII in Corpus Christi.
She’ll be co-anchoring 3News at 5 pm with Rudy Treviño and 3News at 6 and 10 pm with Joe Gazin.
Her last day at KVUE is Friday, September 6. She starts the new job September 9.
Adami joined KVUE last year as a morning reporter for the Austin ABC affiliate. She has also been a fill-in-anchor for KVUE Daybreak and KVUE Weekend Daybreak.
She was previously weekday morning anchor for KLBK in Lubbock.
KVUE and KIII are both TEGNA stations.
