Juárez lands at Telemundo Phoenix

May 15, 2020 by Veronica Villafañe

Juan Juárez has started a new job as a multimedia journalist at Telemundo Phoenix.

The move marks a return to his hometown.

Juárez landed work with the Telemundo’s O&O in Arizona last year, covering Tucson and the border. When a new position opened up in Phoenix earlier this year, he applied for the new job.

Juárez was among the many staffers laid off from Entravision’ KINC in Las Vegas in April 2018.

He had worked at the station for three years, before the local newscast at KINC Las Vegas was shut down and “shipped” to El Paso, eliminating almost the entire news staff.
