Gabriela Martínez has landed her first on-air position, as a multi-media journalist at KTAZ Telemundo 39 .
She’ll be working for Noticiero Telemundo Arizona’s weekday newscasts and also create bilingual content for the station’s digital platforms.
She made her on-air debut on Monday, October 26.
Prior to joining Telemundo 39, Martínez did an internship as production manager with Univision San Diego in early 2020.
She previously earned journalism experience working for Cal State Fullerton’s student-produced newscasts Al Día, Titan Weekly and The Report in California in 2019.
