Aiming at becoming a bigger player in the streaming space, NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises today announced the launch of the Telemundo Streaming Studios.
The new unit will be exclusively dedicated to developing and producing premium original scripted content for VOD streaming for Latino audiences in the U.S., as well as for international consumption.
Telemundo Streaming Studios launches with more than 35 projects in development and currently in production.
The company says it will be hiring more producers and talent for new projects.
