Alfredo Sánchez is moving to a new job with Azteca Valle.
He joins the Rio Grande Valley station as sports anchor for the 5 and 10 pm newscasts. He will also cover local sports as an MMJ.
He starts on Monday, September 13.
Sánchez was most recently a sports MMJ and weekend anchor at KVDA Telemundo 60 in San Antonio, where he worked since April 2019.
Prior to landing in Texas, he spent three years at Telemundo Oklahoma, starting out as assignment desk editor. He worked his way up to MMJ, weekend producer and eventually, sports director, anchor and producer.
