Alejandro Acebal has been named regional VP of Sales for Telemundo-owned Florida stations WTMO, WRMD and WWDT.
In this role, he will develop and implement all sales strategies for three stations.
He will report to WTMO President and GM Migdalia Figueroa and will work closely with WRMD and WWDT GM Jayme Ribeiro-Neto.
Acebal’s 26-year career has been with the Telemundo Station Group in South Florida, starting as a marketing research coordinator at WSCV Telemundo 51 in 1996 and moving into roles with increasing responsibility in research, local TV ad sales, multi-market digital sales and strategy
He was most recently VP of Digital Sales for the Telemundo Station Group, leading OTT sales efforts in the Southeast for NBC Spot On.
