Univision 41 has hired Fernando Cárdenas as executive producer of Multimedia Content.
He’ll be working weekdays, tasked with integrating content from the early morning and noon newscasts across the station’s different platforms.
Originally from Mexico, Cárdenas has been working in the New York market for the past 15 years. He was most recently a digital media producer for NY 1 from 2014 to 2022.
He was part of the founding team and programming information director at V-Me Media from 2007 to 2009.
Cárdenas currently also teaches journalism at City College of New York (CUNY).
