Emmanuel Esparza has been named sports anchor at Telemundo 48 El Paso.
He’ll deliver sports coverage weekdays for KTDO’s weekday newscasts at 4, 4:30, 5 and 10 pm.
His made his on-air debut October 4.
Esparza steps into the spot left vacant since Antonio Favela’s departure in August 2020.
Esparza crosses over into Spanish broadcasting. He was most recently a bilingual MMJ at El Paso’s KVIA ABC 7, where he presented daily news stories from the border.
