TelevisaUnivision announced that Carlos Ferreiro is stepping down as Chief Financial Officer for health reasons.
Ferreiro will stay on in an advisory role to ensure a smooth transition.
Juan Pablo Newman, Chief Growth Officer of TelevisaUnivision Mexico, will become interim CFO effective September 1, 2024.
Ferreiro, who has been with TelevisaUnivision since 2021, played a crucial role in the company’s financial operations and the 2021 TelevisaUnivision merger.
Before the Televisa-Univision merger, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Televisa.
Newman also joined the company as VP of Advertising Sales and Marketing in 2021, based in Mexico City.
He currently oversees all domestic ad sales, marketing and commercial operations of national and local free-to-air TV, pay TV, digital O&O and streaming in Mexico.
