Luisiana Rios lands NBCU digital managing editor role

Luisiana Rios has joined NBCUniversal’s local national digital team as managing editor.

She’ll be overseeing web content for Telemundo’s 24 local news stations.

Rios was most recently an editor for Poynter’s fact-checking site PolitiFact.

She previously worked at TelevisaUnivision as a digital content manager and executive producer of multiplatform content.

Rios has also worked as an MMJ for the Global News Network, an anchor and reporter for América TeVé, and anchor at the now-defunct online news venture SOiTV.

Prior to her move to the U.S., she spent 14 years as an anchor, reporter and executive producer at RCTV in her native Venezuela.
