Salvador Rodriguez returns to CNBC for tech editor role

Salvador Rodriguez has returned to CNBC for an opportunity in editorial management.

After a 12-year career as a reporter, he is now deputy editor of technology news.

He started the new job on Monday, September 9.

Rodriguez was most recently a social media business reporter at The Wall Street Journal’s San Francisco bureau.

He’ll continue to be based in the Bay Area.

Rodriguez rejoins the CNBC newsroom where he worked as a technology reporter from September 2018 to December 2021.

His past experience includes tech reporter jobs with Reuters, Inc. Magazine, the International Business Times and the Los Angeles Times.
