Maria Paula Ochoa

María Paula Ochoa joins Telemundo 52

January 28, 2025 by Veronica Villafañe

María Paula Ochoa rejoins the Telemundo family in Los Angeles. She’ll be working as a weekday reporter at local station KVEA 52.

This marks her return to the #1 Spanish-language media market.

Ochoa previously spent over a decade as a correspondent and producer for “Al Rojo Vivo Con Maria Celeste” and Noticias Telemundo. She exited the company amid network layoffs in early 2023.

Most recently, she was a 6 and 11 pm weekday anchor at Univision San Diego. She resigned in December to make her way back to L.A.

Ochoa’s prior experience includes roles as correspondent for Estrella TV’s national program “En La Mira Con Enrique Gratas,” anchor for news magazine “Al Filo de la Noticia” for KWHY and reporter the short-lived Azteca América station at L.A.’s channel 54.
