Paola Morales and Ana Mafud have been named co-anchors of Noticiero Telemundo Arizona’s weekday 4, 4:30 and 5 pm newscasts.
The female anchor duo replace Gilberto Dorrego, who anchored his final newscast on February 14.
Morales joined Noticiero Telemundo Arizona in 2015 as Tucson-based reporter and promoted to news anchor a year later. She previously worked as a reporter for Azteca América in Tucson and at Televisa in Hermosillo, Mexico.
Mafud joined Noticiero Telemundo Arizona in January 2023 as anchor and video journalist. Before moving to Arizona, she worked as a news anchor and reporter for Televisa in Monterrey, Mexico.
