April 16, 2025 by Veronica Villafañe Leave a Comment

Juan Toro has been promoted to Senior Director of Multi-Platform Spanish News and Content at Gray Telemundo Affiliate Station Group, effective immediately.

In this expanded leadership role, Toro will guide the strategic direction, editorial quality, and distribution of Spanish-language news and storytelling across Gray’s 44 Telemundo affiliate stations.

As part of his responsibilities, he will oversee newscasts and teams at WKTB Telemundo Atlanta and Gray’s Spanish News Bureau, under Telemundo Broadcast Operations, ensuring consistent, high-quality editorial standards for newscasts in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, and Eastern North Carolina. He will also focus on producing and distributing Spanish-language content across all Gray Telemundo markets, as well as select non-Telemundo markets.

Toro will continue to oversee InvestigateTV+ en Español and collaborate with Gray Digital Media’s Spanish Digital Content Center to expand digital engagement.

Toro joined Gray Media in 2023 as Executive Producer for InvestigateTV+ en Español. He previously spent nearly 10 years as a producer at CNN en Español. His past experience includes roles at ESPN and Univision Boston.
