Spectrum officially announced the nationwide launch of Spectrum Noticias, a new 24-hour Spanish-language news network.
The network had been rolling out on a market-by-market basis prior to today’s formal announcement.
The weekday morning news lineup begins with anchor Patsi Arias at 6 a.m. ET, followed by Philip Klint anchoring afternoon coverage starting at 3 p.m. ET.
Spectrum Noticias has established local news bureaus in Los Angeles, New York, Texas, and Florida, operating from existing Spectrum News locations. The network plans to hire additional Spanish-language reporters to expand coverage. Viewers in those markets will see local headlines every 30 minutes throughout the day.
María Rozman, who joined Spectrum News in December 2024 as Senior Director of News for Spectrum Noticias, leads editorial content for the network.
Spectrum Noticias is now available on Spectrum TV lineups across its 41-state service area. It can also be streamed via the Spectrum News App, Xumo Stream Box, Roku, and Apple TV.
I wonder what took them so long? Univision, Telemundo and others have served Spanish speaking viewers & allies for decades. Talk about an untapped market! I’m not bilingual but having lived in Texas, Ohio, California and now Florida, I know an important constituency when I see one.
¡Felicidades y’all!
