TelevisaUnivision and Disney Entertainment strike distribution deal

May 22, 2025 by Veronica Villafañe Leave a Comment

TelevisaUnivision and Disney Entertainment announced a multi-region distribution partnership aimed at expanding Spanish-language audience reach for both companies.

Starting June 3, TelevisaUnivision’s U.S. networks – Univision, UniMás, TUDN, and Galavisión – will enter Hulu+ Live TV’s core channel lineup. Local news will be included as part of the larger Univision broadcast network. There will be no additional cost to existing Hulu+ Live TV subscribers.

The move comes just ahead of major soccer events like the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup and Concacaf Gold Cup.

Other TelevisaUnivision channels such as N+FORO, tlNovelas, Bandamax, De Película, De Película Clásico, Telehit, and Telehit Música will be available through Hulu + Live TV’s Español add-on package later at an extra cost.

Beginning early June, the partnership also extends to Mexico, where Disney+ and ViX will be bundled together. This will give ViX users access to Disney+ – the streaming service featuring a vast library of movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic – as part of their subscription.
