Alvarez-Dunn fired from Primera Hora

Claudio Alvarez-Dunn, the managing editor of Puerto Rico’s Primera Hora , was fired last week, after more than 10 years with the newspaper.

He was part of the founding group of Primera Hora, launched in 1997. Before that, he worked 10 years at El Nuevo Día (owned by the same company) in San Juan as a foreign news editor, business copy editor, news desk editor and reporter.

Claudio is a native of Argentina and has lived in Puerto Rico since 1980.
