HITN to air controversial Juanes concert live

September 18, 2009 by Veronica Villafañe

Juanes and a multitude of musical stars will be performing in the historic “Paz Sin Fronteras” concert in Cuba this Sunday and HITN (Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network) will be showing it live, starting at 2 pm.

The concert has generated a great deal of controversy because of Juanes’s choice to hold the event in Cuba. Last year, he held the first “Paz Sin Fronteras” on the Simón Bolívar bridge that links Colombia to Venezuela.

Other celebrities that will participate in the 4 hour concert include Olga Tañón, Miguel Bosé, Victor Manuel and Silvio Rodriguez. HITN will also make the concert available online.
