Cortez lands AP job in New Jersey

Julio Cortez leaves the Houston Chronicle to join the The Associated Press as a New Jersey-based staff photographer. He starts the new job in mid December.


Julio’s last day as staff photojournalist at the Chronicle is Dec. 3rd. He had been with the paper since 2007. He previously worked as
staff photojournalist at the Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers in Florida and as an editorial assistant/part-time reporter for the L.A. Daily News.
