Sanfuentes promoted at NBC

Antoine Sanfuentes has been promoted to Washington Bureau Chief for NBC News, effective February 7, 2011. He is currently Deputy Bureau Chief, a job he’s held since Feb. 2009. He replaces Mark Whitaker, who is leaving NBC to become managing editor of CNN Worldwide.

Antoine has been working at the NBC Washington bureau since 1990. He spent the first 5 years as a desk assistant before getting promoted to senior White House producer.

In his new role, Antoine will oversee all bureau management, administration, editorial affairs and “Meet the Press.”
