March 25, 2011 by Veronica Villafañe

German Perez Nahim

Univision today announced it has named Germán Pérez-Nahim Sr VP and Operating Manager of TeleFutura. He replaces Bert Medina, who was named Sr Advisor of Special Projects for Univision Studios.

This is a musical chair of sorts. Until his appointment today, Germán was VP of Univision Studios. Prior to joining Univision, he was General Manager and VP of Production and Programming at Venezuela’s Televen. He has also been EVP and GM at Coral Pictures Corporation and Eurocoral Television, and VP of Sales, Marketing, Programming and Production at Radio Caracas Televisión.

Bert Medina

Bert Medina has been VP and Operating Manager of TeleFutura since Feb. 2005, helping grow the network to become an important competitor of Telemundo, at times leading in ratings. He was previously VP and GM of the Univision and Telefutura stations in Chicago.

Both men will be reporting to Luis Fernández, President of Univision Entertainment & Univision Studios.
