Rodríguez named Sr VP of Univision Cable Networks

Univision Communications today announced they have promoted Jessica Rodríguez to Sr VP President of Univision Cable Networks.

She’ll be in charge of overseeing the company’s expanding cable portfolio, including Galavisión and the TuTv Networks (composed of De Película, Telehit, Ritmoson Latino and Bandamax).

She’ll be based in Miami and report to Univision president César Conde.

Jessica was most recently VP, Special Assistant to the President of Univision Networks.

She was previously VP and station manager of WLII, the Univision O&O in Puerto Rico. She joined Univision in 2001.

Prior to starting her television career, she was an analyst and associate for Chase Manhattan Bank in NYC. She has an MBA from Stanford University.
