FCC approves KWHY sale

The FCC has given the green light for the sale of KWHY-22 in Los Angeles to the Meruelo Group, according to an FCC release (3rd item listed).
NBCU reached a $40 million deal with entrepreneur Alex Meruelos in January. With the FCC approval, the parties can close on the deal.
The sale of the station was part of the conditions for the merger with Comcast.
