LATV to launch national newscast, morning show

LATV, the national bilingual entertainment network, mostly distributed through digital television subchannels, is expanding its programming to include news.
Alfonso “Poncho” Vera has been tapped to anchor “Noticias LATV,” which debuts next Monday, May 16. It will air Mon-Fri at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT.
Also debuting: “Al Empezar el Día,” a magazine-style morning show at 11 am ET/8 am PT. The 3-hr show will feaure hosts Paco Zea, Diana Morales, Liliana Amoros and Natalia Garduno.
