Peña leaving WMAQ

Chris Peña is leaving his assistant news director position at WMAQ-5 in Chicago at the end of May to take a job at NBC news in New York.

Robert Feder reports Chris’ new network role will be announced soon.

Chris joined WMAQ in September 2008. He had previously been executive producer at the NBC station in Miami.
