Telemundo unveils new lineup during upfront

Cristina Saralegui will host her own as-yet-to-be-named weekend show on Telemundo by the end of 2011. But before that, on May 31st, she’ll be hosting a special featuring the cast of “La Reina del Sur,” the network’s most successful novela in its history.

Among the highlights of today’s upfront:

mun2 will be launching a series of new programs, including an “American Idol”-type competition.

Telemundo digital will be launching its first telenovela app.

No update yet on the search for Don Browne’s replacement.
