Univision unveils programming changes

June 3, 2011 by Veronica Villafañe

Univision is announcing new shows, comebacks and some rescheduling of its programming lineup.

Among the network’s newcomers, the crime drama “El Equipo” premieres on June 16 and will air on Thursday nights at 10 pm. Talent show “Pequeños Gigantes,” which has children competing to become superstars, debuts Sunday, June 29 at 8 pm.

Now that Telemundo’s blockbuster “La Reina del Sur” is over, Univision once again opens its 10 pm Mon-Fri slot to bring back several of its shows.

“Don Francisco Presenta” returns to Monday nights, “Aquí y Ahora,” which had been temporarily moved to Sunday evenings is once again a Tuesday night affair and “La Rosa de Guadalupe” will do double duty on Wednesdays and Fridays.
