The Dallas Morning News has named Carmen Cano Digital Managing Editor. In this role, she will be responsible for determining new digital features and products that will help grow audiences across all of the company’s digital news and information platforms. She’ll report to Grant Moise, VP of Digital.
Before joining DMN, Carmen was Director of CBSInteractive. She was previously Executive Director of Product Management for Hearst Digital Newspapers, where she led digital products for 15 different newspapers and launched more than 30 online niche channels. She started her U.S.career leading digital strategy for the Seattle Times Company. Carmen is originally from Spain.
