ESPN Deportes launches sports newsmagazine

ESPN Deportes is launching its first sports newsmagazine.  The new show, titled E:60, debuts tomorrow at 6 pm ET.  It follows the format of ESPN domestic’s Emmy Award-winning program of the same name.  The first season of E:60 will present a total of six one-hour weekly editions from July 19 to August 23.

The first episode will take a look at the experiences of Latino players in Major League Baseball and their impact in the league.   It will also examine the case of Brazilian soccer idol Bruno Souza, who allegedly planned the murder of his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child.

José Ramón Fernández, David Faitelson and Jorge Ramos will host the show along with a team of  ESPN Deportes reporters, including Fernando Palomo, Fernando Schwartz, Guillermo Celis, Carolina Guillén and Martin Ainstein.

E:60 content will be distributed across multiple ESPN Deportes platforms, including ESPNdeportes.com, ESPN Deportes Radio, ESPN Deportes La Revista and ESPN Deportes Movil.
