Former CNN anchor Rick Sanchez, who got fired from that network in October of last year over comments he made on a radio show, has a new gig. He’s the new color analyst on WMCU-1080 AM. According to the Miami Herald, he’ll be calling Florida International University’s football games starting this fall.
Rick had been with CNN for 6 years when he got fired for calling Jon Stewart a bigot on the air, implying that Jews run the media and suggesting Jews are not an “oppressed minority.”
Before joining CNN, Rick previously worked for MSNBC and Miami’s WTVJ-6 (NBC).
