Almas air tonight

After a one year absence, the Alma Awards return to TV on NBC.  A condensed version of the show will air tonight from 8 to 9 pm ET.  The show had previously aired on ABC in 2009.

George Lopez and Eva Longoria are the hosts of the awards show, which strives to promote positive portrayals of Latinos in the entertainment field.

The show featured several performances, including one by Pitbull.

The final number of the show is by Gloria Estefan, who’s performing a song from her new album.

mun2 will be airing a pre-show red carpet special starting at 6 pm ET.
