Kattan named news director at Univision Houston

After more than 12 years as News Director at KUVN-23, Univision’s O&O in Dallas, Martha Kattan is leaving the station to take the helm of the news department at KXLN Univision 45 in Houston. Her first day as News Director in Houston is November 16.  She replaces Isabel González, who left the station in August.

Martha is member of the News Operation Group and has been overseeing the Texas Univision News Departments.  She’ll continue to do so in her new role from Houston.

Prior to joining Univision, worked as a Supervising Producer for  CNN en Español.  She also previously worked for Telemundo in San Antonio and worked in radio as a Anchor/News reporter.
