García promoted at Yahoo!

Javier García has been promoted to the newly created position of General Manager of the U.S. Hispanic business and operations for Yahoo!

He will report to Armando Rodríguez, Yahoo’s VP and Managing Director for Latin America and U.S. Hispanic.

Javier was most recently Director, Marketing Solutions  for Yahoo! Hispanic Americas, leading the organization responsible for digital branded entertainment and display advertising solutions in the region. He was previously head of Media & Entertainment and also held a Product Management position with Y! Emerging Markets.

Before joining Yahoo!, Javier was Director, Media and Mobile Strategy at Diamond Advisory Services, a management consulting firm focused on  business strategy and technology for Fortune 500 companies.
