Award-winning journalist Henry M. Lopez has left his job as Digital Development and Projects Manager for the Santa Fe New Mexican to launch his own business.
Lopez Webworks will provide a variety of digital services, offering content and revenue strategies for publishers in the rapidly growing social-media and mobile sectors, website design and redevelopment, and hands-on trainings for media-company personnel.
Henry worked for almost 8 years at the Santa Fe New Mexican, first starting out as a reporter, then moving on to oversee digital-editorial operations as Web Editor before being promoted to a managerial position at the paper.
For years Henry has trained journalists from around the country for national organizations including the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, Inland Press Association and Maynard Institute for Journalism Education. He has also shared tips and tutorials on his blog and will soon offer webinar training to supplement his in-person trainings.
