Manuel Martínez has been named President and General Manager of WTVJ – NBC’s O&O in Miami, effective immediately.
He joins the station from WSCV Telemundo 51, Telemundo’s O&O station in Miami, where he was President and General Manager since December 2007.
Prior to Telemundo 51, Manuel spent 4 years as Vice President and General Manager of WNJU- 47, the Telemundo station serving the New York Tri-State area. He was also Executive Vice President of Programming and Production for the Telemundo Network from 1997 to 2003.
Manuel takes over from Ardyth Diercks, who left the station earlier this year.
