Univision unveils programming lineup

"Por Ella Soy Eva," with Lucero will air on Univision.

Univision’s kicked off its Upfront presentation this morning at the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City, where they revealed the new season’s programming lineup. It includes more than a dozen new primetime programs across Univision’s television networks including telenovelas, reality and entertainment programs.

The event was hosted by Univision President and CEO, Randy Falco, Univision Networks President Cesar Conde, and President of Advertising Sales and Marketing, David Lawenda.

Here’s the programming lineup for the 2012-2013 season:

Univision Network

Novelas

“Amor Bravío,” featuring Cristián de la Fuente, Siliva Navarro, Cesar Evora, Rene Strickler, Leticia Calderón. (Monday- Friday, Primetime – Televisa)

“Por Ella Soy Eva.”  Lucero and Jaime Camil headline this romantic comedy (Monday- Friday, Primetime – Televisa)

Daytime

“Despierta América Concert Series” – Univision’s morning show will feature outdoor concerts this summer. (Fridays, 7 a.m. ET/PT, 6 a.m. Central – Univision Studios)

Specials

“Sábado Gigante 50 Year Celebration” – Univision celebrates the longest running variety show in television history.

“America Celebra A Chespirito” – The special will highlight the career of Roberto Gómez Bolaños, known as “Chespirito,” the creator and actor of “El Chavo.” (Primetime – Televisa)

“Festival Acapulco: Juan Gabriel.” (Primetime – Televisa)

Hispanic celebrities compete in "Mira Quien Baila" for a third season.

Reality

“¡Mira Quién Baila! 3” –  the reality dance competition that pairs Hispanic celebrities with dancers returns for a third time, hosted by Javier Poza and Chiquinquirá Delgado. (Sunday, Primetime – Univision Studios and Endemol)

“Nuestra Belleza Latina 7” – this beauty pageant featuring Latina contestants returns to Univision for a seventh season. Hosted by Giselle Blondet. (Sunday, Primetime – Univision Studios)

“Parodiando 2”  – comedy show featuring actress and comedian Angélica Vale, Gilberto Gless and Pierre Angelo.  Héctor Sandarti hosts. (Sunday, Primetime – Televisa)

“Pequeños Gigantes 2”  – The Televisa talent competition, featuring  kids ages 4 to 12, returns for a second season. Hosted by Galilea Montijo, the show brings together 28 children and seven judges to create this unique talent competition. For the first time, local auditions where held in four U.S. markets where a group of young contestants was selected to compete in Mexico. (Sunday, Primetime – Televisa)

Telefutura Network

Dramatic Series

“La Otra Cara” – Remake of Televisa’s novela “La Usurpadora,” reworked by the producer of “La Reina del Sur.” Danna Garcia stars. (Primetime – TeleFutura)

Galavisión Network

Series

“Los Heroes del Norte 2”  –  Comedic adventure narrating how five form a band and search for stardom in the world of norteño music. (Primetime – Televisa)

“Cloroformo”– Series follows a boxer’s road from fame and fortune to the agony of defeat. Mike Tyson, Sugar Rey Leonard and Julio César Chávez make guest apperarances. (Primetime – Televisa)

Docu-Reality

“Mistico” (Mystic) – This series follows an avid blogger as he travels around the world in search for answers about parallel realities, UFOs, paranormal encounters and other events of life’s unexplained mysteries. (Primetime – Galavisión)

Info-tainment

“Detrás del Saber” (Behind Knowledge) –Half- hour series explains the science behind our modern world. (Monday-Thursday, Primetime – Galavisión)
