Univision Atlanta wins best newscast Emmy

After only 14 months on the air, WUVG Univision 34 Atlanta won 7 Emmys from the Southeast Regional Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, including one for best newscast for “Noticias 34 Atlanta.”

The station picked up the top honor during the awards ceremony held on June 9.

Here’s the list of the station’s winning entries:

  • Television Crafts Achievement Excellence: News Excellence: “Noticias 34 Atlanta” – Amanda Ramírez, Gianncarlo Cifuentes, Francisco Ahorrio, Dorian Maras and Omar García
