New ESPN Deportes show taps boxing champ

World boxing champ Julio César Chávez Sr. joins co-hosts Bernardo Osuna and David Faitelson in ESPN Deportes’ new weekly primetime boxing news and analysis show.  “A Los Golpes” debuts today at 7:30 pm ET.

The 30-minute series entirely devoted to boxing, is produced from ESPN’s Los Angeles studios.

Chávez, winner of 6 world titles in three weight divisions, will be a recurring guest analyst on the show.  In addition to providing commentary, he’ll give tips on how to win a fight or knock down an opponent in a special segment titled “The Champion’s Corner.”

Bernardo Osuna, ESPN Deportes’ West Coast Bureau Reporter and host of “Friday Night Fights” and David Faitelson, host of “Crónometro” and “Nación ESPN” will provide commentary and analysis.

“A Los Golpes” will feature segments recapping the weekend’s action and look ahead to upcoming matchups.  Viewers will be able to interact with the program by phone and online.
