Azteca América saw a slight bump in its viewership. According to Nielsen, the network posted year-over-year double-digit growth in key demos for weekday primetime during November sweeps.
The network increased by 14% in the 18-34 and 18-49 adult demo, as well as by 13% for adults 25-54.
While percentage-wise that may seem encouraging, the network’s viewership is dismal.
In the adults 18-49 demo, the Monday-Friday primetime average increased from 77,000 to 88,000, while in the 18-34 adult demo, viewership grew from 36,000 to 41,000 for Monday-Friday prime (7p-11p).
In the 8-9 pm time slot, the network posted a 35% increase among adults 18-34, from an average of 23,000 to 31,000, thanks to reality program “La Isla”.
