López joins Turner Broadcasting

Lincoln LopezLincoln López has joined Turner Broadcasting System as VP Social Media Strategy and Innovation for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). He’ll be based at Turner Broadcasting headquarters in Atlanta and report to Tricia Melton, SVP of Brand and Entertainment Marketing.

In this newly created role, he is responsible for all social media operations, initiatives and campaigns in support of the networks’ programming.

López leaves New York, where he he had been VP of Digital Marketing & Social Media for VH1, VH1 Classic and Palladia since 2010. In that role, he was responsible for multi-platform creative, interactive campaigns, SEO, media planning, partnerships and social media strategy. He also developed the marketing strategy behind VH1′s 2nd screen app.

López was previously Executive Producer of Digital Production and Content Programming for MTV Networks. Before that, he held positions as Director of Consumer Products and Digital Operations for Photoworks, Sr Product Manager of Mobile Products & Content Services for RealNetworks/Rhapsody. He also spent 9 years at Adobe Systems in various roles, including global product management, video & animation production, international marketing, engineering management, and software development.
