Noticiero Telemundo Denver wins investigative award

The Colorado Broadcasters Association (CBA) honored “Noticiero Telemundo Denver” with a Best Investigative Report award for its story  ‘Sale of Identification Cards in Colorado.’

The Telemundo Denver’s news team received the award during the CBA’s annual Gala Awards for Excellence, which which celebrates the State’s best in broadcasting.

“Sale of Identification Cards in Colorado” was a joint investigation conducted by Telemundo Denver and 9News, which exposed the invalidity of non-government identification cards sold by many local businesses.

Reporter Carlos Rausseo broke the story, which was produced by News Director and Anchor Maria Rozmán, alongside Technical Director and Producer Milter Herrera, Video Journalist José Guzmán, and Meteorologist Javier Castro.
