Univision strikes deal with DIRECTV

Univision_DirecTVUnivision Communications has signed a multi-year agreement DIRECTV adding carriage of Univision’s new cable networks.

DIRECTV will launch Univision Deportes Network, Univision tlnovelas, and ForoTV, in addition to carrying Univision’s owned and operated broadcast stations, the network feeds for Univision and UniMás and Galavisión.

DIRECTV customers will also have access to thousands of hours of Univision’s content anywhere, anytime on their PC, tablet or mobile device, through the DIRECTV Everywhere platform and UVideos.
