Cossío leaves América TeVé for Mega TV

May 28, 2013 by Veronica Villafañe

Miguel_Cossio2 croppedMiguel Cossío has left his job as América TeVé news director and has crossed over to the competition.  According to El Nuevo Herald, his last day at Miami’s Channel 41 was Friday, the same day he moved over to Mega TV’s Channel 22.

Miguel had been news director at América TeVé for 10 years.

His move comes just one day after Channel 41 co-worker Oscar Haza debuted his show “Ahora con Oscar Haza” on Mega TV Channel 22 on Thursday.

A story in Diario de las Américas states that Miguel will be heading the news departments for Mega TV and SBS Radio.
