Gerardo Adame, currently general manager of Terra México, is adding management of the US Hispanic market efforts to his responsibilities.

He replaces Fernando Rodríguez, who led Terra’s operations in the United States for the past 10 years, and is leaving the company.

Adame’s new title is General Manager for North America.

Paulo Castro, Chief Executive Officer of Terra, made the announcement, as part of Terra’s strategic plan.

Fernando Rodríguez leaves Terra after 10 years with the company.

Adame joined Terra Mexico in 2000 as Commercial Director and in 2005 was promoted to General Manager.

He was previously Chief Operations Officer of Infosel Financiero in Mexico City and before that, worked in the information technology area at El Norte newspaper.

In a statement, Castro said  “Terra has made great strides within the U.S. as a result of Fernando Rodriguez’s experience and administration. We would like to recognize Fernando for all that he has done and thank him for his contribution.”
