Pilar Guzmán is leaving her job as editor-in-chief of Martha Stewart Living to take on the top editor position at Condé Nast Traveler. She takes over the new job September 3, replacing Klara Glowczewska, who is leaving Condé.

Pilar was hired to lead Martha Stewart Living in 2011. She previously co-founded Momfilter.com.  She was also the founding Editor-in-Chief of the now defunct Cookie, a magazine for “modern parents,” which was launched in 2005 and shut down 4 years later.

She has also worked as senior editor of Real Simple and executive editor of One magazine, in addition to contributing to multiple publications such as The New York Times, Marie Claire and the NY Daily News.

Pilar is the daughter of Hollywood producer and director Claudio Guzmán, who passed away in 2008.
