Calderón named KDEN news director

Pedro Calderón joins KDEN Telemundo Denver as News Director, effective Monday, November 18. He’ll report to Station Manager Andrés Chaparro.

In his new role, Pedro will be responsible for managing the station’s news operations including planning and production.

He was most recently anchor/producer of Univision San Diego’s weekday newscasts since 2011. Before that, he was anchor/producer for KCEC Univision Colorado from 2009 to 2011. He previously worked as News Director for KUVS, Univision Sacramento.
