Peluffo rehired at KDTV

July 22, 2014 by Veronica Villafañe

After spending almost 11 years working for Telemundo, Emmy-award winning reporter Jaime Peluffo has left KSTS-48 in San Jose to join Univision’s KDTV-14.

This marks a return for Jaime to the Univision O&O in San Francisco, where he previously worked as a reporter from 2000 to 2001. He started the new job on July 1.

Jaime began his tenure at Telemundo working as a reporter at KSTS, but was forced to relocate when the network shut down local news operations and created the Telemundo Production Center (TPC) to produce regionalized news for several of its stations.

Telemundo has been re-establishing, reinforcing and expanding those previously eliminated news operations.

Jaime worked for the TPC in Arizona and in San Antonio before returning to San Jose.

He also worked for Univision San Antonio from 1997 to 2000, before moving to the Bay Area to work for KDTV.
