UVideos, Univision’s bilingual digital video network, is expanding its programming to include scripted series, reality shows and digital-only extensions of some of Univision Network’s top shows.

Starting in October, Univision will launch “Despierta América – El Reality.” UVideos’ cameras will follow the “Despierta América” hosts and producers to show the behind-the-scenes process of putting together the daily, 4-hour live morning show.

UVideos will also feature the new digital program “Más Allá de la Belleza,” which follows contestants competing to win the crown and title of Miss Venezuela. The show premiered on the digital network on August 25.

Beginning on September 8th, in coordination with Hispanic Heritage Month, UVideos will present two series: “El Encanto del Águila” and “Gritos de Muerte y Libertad.” Both scripted series highlight pivotal moments and characters of the Mexican Revolution.

UVideos is also premiering the Televisa-produced comedy series “Durmiendo Con Mi Jefe” in October.
